Born in Lugano (Switzerland) in 1980, Nathalie Moritz began studying violin when she was only 4 years old, trained by local teachers.
At 5, she joined the Accademia di Musica della Svizzera Italiana and began performing publicly in chamber ensembles, making her debut with Johann Sebastian Bach's "Double Concerto" in D minor when 10 years old.
Enrolled at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Como (Italy) in 1995, Nathalie also became student of Julia Berinskaya at the school of advanced solo specialization in Portogruaro (Italy) and in the following 8 years she also attended numerous Master classes in Italy (Maccagno, Cantù, Cividale del Friuli and Cremona), France (Avignon and Paris), and Spain (Asturias), held by internationally acclaimed masters such as Pavel Vernikov, Igor Volochine, Boris Garlitzki and Sergej Kravchenko.

From 2004 to 2008 she trained in UK (London) with Natalia Lomeiko and at the same time, from 2007 to 2008, she's followed by Zakhar Bron in Switzerland (Zurich), Spain (Madrid) and Germany (Cologne).
She attended various international music festivals as well, such as Portogruaro Festival, Gubbio Festival and Canetti Festival. From 2004 to 2008 she trained in UK (London) with Natalia Lomeiko and at the same time, from 2007 to 2008, she's followed by Zakhar Bron in Switzerland (Zurich), Spain (Madrid) and Germany (Cologne).
In 2008 she recorded in Prague at Riva Sound Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with the Prague Chamber Orchestra and in the following 5 years she was diligently followed by maestro Sergej Kalinin between Italy (Cremona) and Russia (Moscow), with whom she undertook a study deeply marked on musical expression, style, phrasing, timbre, pronunciation, intonation, rhythmic discipline and musical interpretation.
Since 2013 she's also committed to teaching and training young talents, entitled by the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Como to give piano lessons to little beginners.
In 2008 she recorded in Prague at Riva Sound Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with the Prague Chamber Orchestra and in the following five years she was diligently followed by maestro Sergej Kalinin between Italy (Cremona) and Russia (Moscow), with whom she undertook a study deeply marked on musical expression, style, phrasing, timbre, pronunciation, intonation, rhythmic discipline and musical interpretation.

She has won numerous awards in various national and international competitions and has performed in Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Hungary, Spain, United States (Baltimore), Taiwan (Taipei), Japan (Tokyo), Czech Republic (Prague) and Russia (Moscow).
